Iranian History of Culture

is a scientific journal with a biannual publication schedule, offering free open access. It follows a double-blind peer review process and is published by the University of Tabriz.

 

This scientific journal, with publication license No. 94306 issued by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on 2023/08/07, commenced its activities with the publication of its first issue (Fall and Winter 2024) in an electronic and non-online format.

       

All articles in this scientific journal, as well as the entire process of review and publication, are free of charge. The journal transfers intellectual property rights to the authors under the Creative Commons License CC BY-NC 4.0 DEED.

 

This journal respects ethical principles in publishing and adheres to the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It also complies with the Executive Bylaws for the Prevention and Combat of Academic Misconduct.

                 

All articles are screened for plagiarism using the Samim Noor intelligent similarity detection software before being sent for double-blind peer review.


*: During submission, uploading the Authors' Commitment Form and the Conflict of Interest Form is mandatory.


**: In compliance with the guidelines of the Scientific Journals Commission of the Ministry of Science, articles from authors who already have at least two accepted or under-review articles will not be accepted, to ensure that no more than 10% of the annual publications come from repeat authors.


****: According to ISC regulations, no more than 25% of articles in a given year should be authored by individuals affiliated with the journal's owner institution. Additionally, no more than 10% of articles in a given year should be authored by the editor-in-chief, managing director, or editorial board members.
