Iranian History of Culture

is a scientific journal with a biannual publication schedule, offering free open access. It follows a double-blind peer review process and is published by the University of Tabriz.

This scientific journal, with publication license No. 94306 issued by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on 2023/08/07, commenced its activities with the publication of its first issue (Spring and Summer 2024) in an electronic and non-online format.

All articles in this scientific journal, as well as the entire process of review and publication, are free of charge. The journal transfers intellectual property rights to the authors under the Creative Commons License CC BY-NC 4.0 DEED.

This journal respects ethical principles in publishing and adheres to the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It also complies with the Executive Bylaws for the Prevention and Combat of Academic Misconduct.

Given the need to protect the writings of the country's esteemed researchers and avoid research violations, and in accordance with the law "Preventing and Combating Fraud in the Preparation of Scientific Works" and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology's emphasis on research ethics, it is now mandatory to upload 1- the article's plagiarism certificate obtained from the similarity check system at the time of submitting the article before being sent for double-blind peer review.. Moreover,it is mandatory to upload 2-  the Authors' Commitment form and also the 3-  Conflict of Interest form with submitting manuscripts prepared in this 4- Template.

**: In compliance with the guidelines of the Scientific Journals Commission of the Ministry of Science, articles from authors who already have at least two accepted or under-review articles will not be accepted, to ensure that no more than 10% of the annual publications come from repeat authors.

****: According to ISC regulations, no more than 25% of articles in a given year should be authored by individuals affiliated with the journal's owner institution. Additionally, no more than 10% of articles in a given year should be authored by the editor-in-chief, managing director, or editorial board members.
